St. Peter’s Bakery is famous for their Wednesday cinnamon rolls. In 1950 the bakery began to bake big tasty cinnamon rolls which are only being sold in the shop on Wednesday. A traditional that has lasted ever since and that has made the small bakery known throughout Copenhagen.
The bakery offers two distinct cinnamon rolls one is decorated with icing sugar and one with regular sugar. These classic innamon rolls are equally tasty.
My own experience: I have over the years been eating cinnamon rolls from St. Peter’s bakery. The quality is just good every time, no matter when you come during a year. It is must to visit the bakery, if you are in Copenhagen.
In Danish: Sankt Peders Bageri er berømte for deres onsdagssnegle. I 1950’erne begyndte bageriet at bage store velsmagende kanalsnegle som kun bliver solgt i forretningen om
onsdagen. En traditionel der har holdt ved lige siden og, som har gjort det lille bageri kendt i hele København.
Bageriet tilbyder to forskellige kanelsnegle, den ene er pyntet med glasur og den med sukker. Kanelsnegle som er lige velsmagende.
Min egne erfaringer: Jeg har igennem årene spist kanelsnegle fra Sankt Peders bageri. Kvaliteten er lige god hver gang, uanset hvornår du kommer på året. Det er must at besøge bageriet, hvis man er i København.
