Just the other day I bycycle past the Michelin-starred dessert chef Nikolaos Strangas exclusive dessert store located on Åboulevarden in Copenhagen.
Approximately 4 years ago I met Nikolaos in connection with food appearance in department store Magasin, and since then I have regularly followed Nikolaos many activities.
As always it is a pleasure to visit the store. In the pastry room everybody was busy making different kinds of dessert cakes.
My own experience: I chose to spend a little time to take a closer look at the many delicious cakes as displayed, selected and order of the exclusive cakes.
The choice fell on “Strangas pure nordic. Pure dark chocolate mousse made of 70% Valrhona chocolate, balanced with a fresh slightly tart buckthorn & mango mousse “.
The chocolate mousse was silky and balance between mango and sea buckthorn is absolutely perfect. It is a pastry that I highly recommend.

For ca. 4 år siden mødte jeg Nikolaos i forbindelse med madoptræden i Stormagasinet Magasin, og siden dengang har jeg jævnligt fulgt med i Nikolaos mange aktiviteter.
Som altid er det en fornøjelse at besøge forretningen. I selve konditorlokalet havde alle travlt med at lave forskellige slags dessertkager.
Mine egne erfaringer: Jeg valgte at bruge lidt på at kigge lidt nærmere på de mange skønne kager i disken, og valgte bestille en af de eksklusive kager.
Valget faldt på ”Strangas pure nordic. Ren mørk chokolademousse lavet på 70 % Valrhona chokolade, afbalanceret med en frisk let syrlig havtorn & mangomousse”.
Chokolademoussen var silkeblød og balancen mellem mango og havtorn er helt perfekt. Det er et konditori som jeg varmt kan anbefale.
